After his residency, Dr. Ralph Highshaw was accepted to the MD Anderson Cancer Center Urologic Oncology Fellowship where he researched Urological Cancers including cancer of the bladder, testes, kidney, prostate and renal cancer. 

During his fellowship Dr. Highshaw was awarded the prestigious American Foundation of Urologic Disease (AFUD) Award. After becoming a Board Certified Urologist by receiving his diploma from the American Board of Urology, he established a full-time private urology practice dedicated to the minimally invasive and highly successful treatment of urologic disease for men, women and children and other urologic needs including vasectomies, incontinence and erectile dysfunction.
